Certain IDE's like TogetherJ provide built in support for GoF design patterns . Where Eclipse stand vis a vis these IDEs ? How many patterns it supports ? Are j2ee patterns also supported ?

With warm regards
Shailesh

See http://eclipse-plugins.2y.net/eclipse/search.jsp?query=patterns

Keep in mind, though, that patterns are just rough templates of design ideas - you are supposed to adapt them to your actual needs!

The IBM has an Eclipse's plug-in names "Design Pattern Toolkit (DPTK)".
