EverBank is looking for (among other things) a junior-level software engineer in Northeast Florida. The department in question is primarily involved with financial applications, and though Java (and J2EE) is one of the most commonly-used platforms, we do a fair amount of stuff with Microsoft and Oracle products as well. A lot of the work involves either upscaling user-developed (MS-Access/Excel) projects to the enterprise level or cross-connecting commercial packages (or both). Also, probably create a few reports.

Exact skill sets are less important than the willingness to take on projects at short notice and provide viable solutions. In other words, we're looking for someone who can see needs and come up with solutions.

For more precise details, please check out our career opportunities at www.everbank.com.
