II. PROJECT AND APPLICATION SCOPE
Position Title: Sr. Software Engineer/Developer � Blackberry J2ME
Position Description: Day to Day engineering and development Full SDLC, for handheld applications on RIM's Blackberry Device. This resource will be the J2ME / Blackberry SME for my client's products group. The majority of this work is pure Research & Development, therefore solid SOP's are not in place. The organization will look to the J2ME/Blackberry Engineer to help define the future of the client's product line related to Blackberry Devices.

Business Objective: Develop new applications for enterprise blackberry users

Technical Environment: J2ME (Java 2 Platform, Micro Edition) is a technology that allows programmers to use the Java programming language and related tools to develop programs for mobile wireless information devices such as cellular phones and personal digital assistants (PDAs). J2ME consists of programming specifications and a special virtual machine, the K Virtual Machine, that allows a J2ME-encoded program to run in the mobile device. Size of Group: 4 developers, looking for 1 or two more

Hi I am a J2ME developer but i dont think so that there is any significant difference for Blackberry other than API's which obviously can be mastered in max. 10 days.
