First of all, thanks to Eric for solving my problem with
this post. Unfortunately, solving one problem usually leads to another and, in this case, it has.
Some of the text I'm getting contains Unicode characters, such as "\u00ED". This should really translate to
this. Is there any easy way to convert "\u00ED" into a format that can be displayed in a web browser?
I can do a straight hex to decimal conversion to turn "\u00ED" into "00237" and do it that way. But is there an easy way to take a
String like this:
abc\u00ED\u0428def
into this:
abcíШdef
?
I imagine I could write the JavaScript to do it, but I wonder if a utility to do this already exists.
Thanks,
Corey
