Whenever I use the SAX or DOM parser with JBuilder 4, I keep getting the error message: "Error in parsing: Can't find bundle for base name org.apache.xerces.impl.msg.XMLMessages, locale en_US." I received this error while trying to use Apache's DOM parser. When I tried to use the SAX parser, I got a similar error. Does anyone know what might be causing this?
Thanks,
Richard

Since I don't use JBuilder myself, here are some general debugging tips.

  • Check your CLASSPATH and make sure both the .jar files are visible.
  • See if you have to configure JBuilder separately for using any binary/jar files( refer to JBuilder documentation ).
  • Try using one of the sample programs that come with your download using command line compiling/running and see if that works.

  • Hope that helps!

Do the next thing next. That’s a pretty good rule. Read the tiny ad, that’s a pretty good rule, too.
