Is there something similar to Entity notation of DTD files in XSD?
I am trying to convert a DTD file into an XSD file, problem is that I can not understand what should I use in XSD when I want to convert a DTD entity.

Not really. If you have entities like: you can change Á to Á or just �. If you have external entities like: it looks like the standard way to represent that is to use XInclude, changing &chapter1; to:
