i am not able to jump in to some chapters of kushner book, as they are not for beginners

anyone know any material for beginners on security, jca and transactions?

It is better for you to take IBM 484 before IBM 287 because IBM 484 targets on general J2EE technologies. You can read Head First EJB and Head First Servlets & JSPs to gain the knowledge on security and transaction on J2EE technologies. Then come back for IBM 287.

thank goodness, the other chapters are more digestible at my level. will just need to read more books with handson; this book have no handson on its pages, but has included the trial wsad on its cd. i guess that means we have to practice on our own.

need to review the sequence of my exams. should have prepared for ibm 484 first.
