Is there something called JPython. If so what exactly is it?
Heard somebody drop the word JPython and was wondering what it was.

JPython is the old name for what is now known as Jython. It is a dialect of Python which allows you to use Java classes from an object oriented scripting language. You can also embed Jython into a Java program.
There's more here.
