Hi All,

I have cleared by Part I with 89 %. Thanks to all the ranchers.
Now I am planning to start preparing for the part II.

In this regard would like to take some suggestion from the ranchers who are already on their way.

Do you recommend me to purchase the assignmen fist and then follow this forum?
Please suggest.

Regards

Of course, purchase the assignment, after all, you have to do it on your own. :-)

Congrats! Good score!

I have finished all steps but dont have my results yet (this waiting is killing me ).

I recommend you purchase and download the assignment (you have to call Sun and tell them the voucher number). Then you begin creating your own solution.

This forum is to exchange general ideas about options you have. You must not rely on this forum to create your project... The assignments are slightly different.

You should read Mark Cades book, specially the sample project.

Good luck and, if you have any questions, I will be glad to help you.

"Dharmesh",

There aren't many rules that you need to worry about here on the Ranch, but one that we take very seriously regards the use of proper names. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and adjust your display name to match it.

In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious.

Thanks!
Scott

Thank you Cleuton. I shall definitely do that.

For all of them who are looking out for suggestions on part I.

I have gone through the following books

Mark Cade
EJB - Orielly
JMS - No specific book as I had already some experience in it.
UML - Martin Fowler - my favourite
Simulators - Whizlabs

Suggestion for Part-II.

I cleared Part-I last year but due to work load I couldnot proceed with Part-II. Now, I am planning for Part-II. I need guidanace as where to start. As per my understanding, I noted following for Part-II.

1. Refer UML book, UML Distilled or wherever ..
2. Design Pattern materials (GOF, J2EE Design Pattern)
3. Pet Store implementation.

Is there any material that is required for Part-II ? Please let me know your reply will help me to the decision.

Thanks in advance.
