I think two sections of the bunkhouse are a little fuzzy...
Design Patterns, UML, and Refactoring and
Other.
The
Other section contains books on other technologies. Ok, this makes sense. But it also contains
Patterns for Time-Triggered Embedded Systems. Doesn't this belong in the
Design Patterns, UML, and Refactoring section?
Then there's
The Pragmatic Programmer. This too doesn't seem like it belongs in
Other. I'm not sure if it belongs in the
Design Patterns, UML, and Refactoring section either.
I'm currently submitted reviews for about 5 books on the practice of software engineering. I think we should start a section of the Bunkhouse for that area, distrinct from
Design Patterns, UML, and Refactoring. This existing section will be more for general programming techniques. The XP, and other process books currently in
Design Patterns, UML, and Refactoring would then move into this new section.
