I believe he will be back in form in the next innings or in the next match, or atleast in next series (with pakistan) , or we nay have to wait till he plays for India Seniors .

Victory over Aussies or century from HIM ... what will u prefer? asking both isn't too greedy ?
Indian second innings, Tendulkar is 23 runs and he isn't out yet! Phew, I thought I'd have to eat humble pie after the fist Indian innings. I think I prefered the Indian batsmen before they found some confidence

Will we atleast make Aus bat again? Congrats to Aus, they have proved they are undisputed no:1! And not bad India. We are happy that you can atleast fight. With the kind of bowling attack, its not bad at all! Shoaib , the other day was talking about a joint indo-pak team! that's the only way we can bring down the mighty aussies.

Aussies look set to win this test. Well.. I'm not disappointed since the Indian team really made them work hard for this victory but I do feel that the Indian team has displayed some marked over-confidence since their victory in the first test. Hopefully they get it right for the other matches.

There were some very poor shots played in the first innings by some of the Indian batsmen. I am only speculating that it was over-confidence. There are number of factors that contributed to the poor show.. but I feel over-confidence is one trait we could have perhaps avoided.

Still lot of cricket is to be played in this match. Dravid has blocked one end and if the other end can contribute even 100 runs ... we are going to have a match ... !!! Never imagined that Indians will give this much fight to Aussies ....

Making less that 100 runs won't take more than 25 overs for the Aussies. Its really strange that the Indian tail-enders can't even stick to the wicket for 20-25 overs.

I think u r right, in order to save the series we must give sachin some rest. I do believe sachin is a gr8 batsman, but nobody is greater than country. Alos it will be better if we can drop Ashish Nehra and Zahir Khan. what about Ganguly? [ December 29, 2003: Message edited by: Prakash Dwivedi ]

whom will you suggest to replace Tendulkar in the side? He is among the top 5 wicket takers in this series (from India) [ December 30, 2003: Message edited by: Varun Khanna ]

I think you missed Varun's point. He is projecting Sachin as a bowler and we don't have a good bowler to replace him. Hey...wait. What about Murali Karthik?

will spend rest of his life thinking about the magnificent 350+ innings, which he scored in Sydney, against Australia, way back in Jan 2004

what about yuvraj singh? he is a good fielder as well. and will certainly score more than 0.
