What part of Specs is IMP

I dwnloaded the Specs pdf for jsp and jstl today. It is a huge document 500 pages + 250 pages..are suppose to know everything from here ?
Please suggest a more effiecient way to grab the important points.

- JSP Part I and JSP.C.1XML Schema for TLD, JSP 2.0.
- JSTL : all tags which are at the exam

You don't have to read the whole thing though. You can refer to it while studying with a book.

I want to ask two things

We need to refer servlet's specs? I started with that and found them interesting.

Do questions come like API, I mean question related to method singantures, class hierarchies?

You should start by looking at the objectives and then use that to work out what you need to know from the specs.

You have to know the basic classes related to servlets and tags, and the most used API..

The JSP specification is divided into three parts. I was referring to part I, which goes from chapter One (JSP.1.x) to chapter 10 (JSP.10.x)

I just realised (or think I realised) that by IMP you meant important. I strongly advise you not to use abbreviations in public posts as it impairs your chance of getting good answers.
