After 5 weeks of hard work, I think I've got it 100% working, but I can't really test my client/server functionality just by myself! Does anybody want to be my testing buddy? We can help each other test out the server part.

Hi,
I believe this is an extremly tricky issue. Anyone becoming your testing partner would have access to your code. You could obfuscate it, but that didn't change the situation really.
I'm working on my own solution at the moment (i.e. not yet passed). I, therefore, shouldn't be your testing partner - as tempting as it may seem.
Regards,
Marcel

I didn't know that! Is it also very easy to decompile code even if using something like jobfuscate or excelsior jet? Does jsmooth help?

Hi Min,
I think the best solution would be to find people (friends, collegues?) who are not involved themselves in the SCJD assignment.
Regards,
Phil.

I know, but it's really hard to motivate them to look at something so boring, especially when they've got their own work to do

Obsfuscate it, and bring it in If I'll manage to decompile - it's MINE!!!
Just a joke, of course. I think the most valuable part of the project is the design, and you can't hide it with obfiscation. How about recent certified? They may have still some interest? Or even better - people, who are waiting for the essay exam to take. They are still in the right mood, and they can't use your code, since they have already submitted.
