hello.

I purchased this cert about 19 months ago now. From reading this forum I see many different versions of the assignment are now available.

I'm wondering if the assignment I have on disk collecting dust somewhere is the one I should be completing should I decide to finally submit it. Its the FBNS.

thanks

It took me close to 18 months to submit FBNS - no problems, there's no time limit.

Hi Bubba,

Welcome to JavaRanch and this forum.

As Ben said, there is no time limit on the assignments, so you can continue on the FBNS assignment with no problems.

If you want to, you can try downloading the assignment again. You might get one of the new assignments. Then it will be entirely your choice whether to continue with the old assignment or start using the new assignment. Personally I don't see any value in swapping assignments mid stream though.

Regards, Andrew

Oh, great to hear. I was worried some more stricter specifications might have been added to the application and such, but it sounds like I should be ok as is. Appreciate your responses.
