Askik,
Donot be concerned about taking the SCJP2
test as a Sun or Oracle Test. Both of them are essentially the same. The difference will only be in the Test Number.
An Oracle Test Number would start from "1Z0".Similarly Sun will have its own Test Number for any of its tests.
I am an Oracle JCert (Enterprise and Solution) Developer.I had taken the SCJP as a Sun Test. When I completed with the Oracle Jcert track (passed another 4 tests for it), I informed Oracle that I had taken the SCJP as a Sun test. The Jcert vendor (Oracle,Sun,IBM,BEA) acknowledges this and mails you the Certificate.
In your case, you may take SCJP as an Oracle Test and then later inform Sun that you have passed this test, before registering for SCJD.
Hope this helps,
