Hi i am new to JSF...i try to run index.jsp in eclipse..i get below exception..
please any one can tell me the solution

change the .faces to .jsp in faces.config file

I also faced the same problem.
in faces-config.xml use this
servlet
mapping.
<servlet>
<servlet-name>Faces Servlet</servlet-name>
<servlet-class>org.apache.myfaces.webapp.MyFacesServlet</servlet-class>
<load-on-startup>1</load-on-startup>
</servlet>
