Hi All,
I have a problem using custom tag with facelets .
My web.xml is :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<web-app version="2.5" xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee
http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/web-app_2_5.xsd"> <context-param>
<param-name>com.sun.faces.verifyObjects</param-name>
<param-value>true</param-value>
</context-param>
<context-param>
<param-name>com.sun.faces.validateXml</param-name>
<param-value>true</param-value>
</context-param>
<context-param>
<param-name>javax.faces.DEFAULT_SUFFIX</param-name>
<param-value>.xhtml</param-value>
</context-param>
<context-param>
<param-name>facelets.DEVELOPMENT</param-name>
<param-value>false</param-value>
</context-param>
<context-param>
<param-name>facelets.SKIP_COMMENTS</param-name>

ticker.xhtml :
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8' ?>

</ui:define>
</ui:composition>
</body>
</html>
ticker.taglib.xml
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<!DOCTYPE facelet-taglib PUBLIC
"-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD Facelet Taglib 1.0//EN"
"facelet-taglib_1_0.dtd">

<component>
<component-type>ticker</component-type>
</component>
</tag>
</facelet-taglib>
When the ticker.xhtml page is rendered on browser , the source code is seen like this:
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8' ?>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd" >
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />
<title>Facelets - Template Example</title>
<link href="./css/default.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
</head>
<body>
<h1>Default Title
</h1>
<p>
<d:ticker>
Hello JSF Component
</d:ticker>
</p>
</body>
</html>
It means that facelets is not recognizing the ticker tag . What is the problem ?
