Anyone heard or read about data services?

It's even modern technology than other persistence technologies like entity bean, hibernate etc.

It creates entity beans under the ground. All you need to do is write XQuery to access the database and to get desired result, then publish this data service as a web service at DSP (Data Service Platform) and you are done. Any client can access it now...

I know BEA has a product ALDSP (AquaLogic Data Service Platform) which provides this feature.

Any thoughts on this?
