The AXIS 2 api for RESTful services is clumsy clumsy clumsy and has nothing to do with the client side.

I would ignore Axis and work directly with the java.net and other library classes. Using plain HTTP is the whole point of REST.

Doesn't Yahoo provide plain Java examples?

Thanks Bill,

I was using AXIS Api for SOAP so thought to continue to use the same for REST but it's not really working well.

As you said I will try with java.net lib/api's.
