Hi All
Does anyone know if the selection of questions is done at the
begining of the test or as we go. I am sure Sun has a big database
of questions and they must have some logic to pick certain number
of questions from each topic for every individual. I wanted to
know if the whole exam is created when we log in with our voucher
number or depending on the way we are answering the questions
the next question is picked.
Thank you

since I'm shure you can advance in the exam questions without answering any previous question, I'm pretty shure the exam questions are already there BEFORE you even sit in the chair, OR some logic does the picking of the questions right after you agree with the exam rules.
But anyway, what's the difference? =]

Howdy -- the exams are set before you answer the first question; they don't change based on your responses, as some tests do. Sun may move to that type of "adaptive" exam in the future, but definitely not with any of the current versions of the exams, and not with the next release of the SCWCD either.
So you can relax. Everyone gets an exam that is virtually identical in terms of the objectives being tested, and the difficulty level. Although there are a few exam situations where one person might get TWO questions on a particular topic and someone else might get THREE questions on that topic. But for the most part, you can expect at least two questions per objective, while some objectives may get three.
cheers,
Kathy

I took some of the CNE tests and they were adaptive. The neat thing was that you could answer 20 questions and be finished with the test. The bad thing was that you knew you were doing very poorly as it asked more and more questions.
