Hi,
I am preparing for exam from K&B and whizlabs. Just want to know whether thes two sources are enough to take real exam (obviously java ranch frum where I post my doubts) or require some other surces also.As what I heard is that real exam questions are easy than whizlabs and K&B . I am scoring good in both whizlabs and K &B mock questions.Should I believe that or not? I am planning to take exam next week so please help me as soon as possible..

Hello Divya,

I think that would suffice. As i have seen many ranchers sharing their experiences, they said Whizlabs and K & B mock exams themselves are enough and the real exam is definitely easy than that of these mock exams.\

Perhaps, just to boost your confidence (not to get more confused), you may try the links in SCJP FAQ of JavaRanch. Check the section "What are the mock exams available?"

Good luck

Hey
If you planning to take up the scjp exam.
Firstly you need to plan your time schedule. Atleast 3-4 hrs of prep in a day for atleast 2-3 weeks before the exam.
Secondly buy yourself the scjp book and read it thoroughly over the time scheduled.
Thirdly google for scjp question papers which will mostly be in pdf formats.
Download them and solve atleast a 1000 questions.
Then take up the exam.
Best of luck.
Praveen(scjp).
Still got questions. Post a reply in your post and i will reply.

Stick to the wizlabs.

Most people say if you get around 70% you'll pass SCJP.

I'm using the same resources and stickeing to it.

Most mock exams are outdated/small(not a big database of questions).

Wizlabs the best out there...

...I think.

I was going to post a very similar question!!

whizlabs, master exam (k/b), enthuware vs real exam?

for me the whizlabs has been the most difficult of the 3. is there one that is closest to the real test?
