Hi Ganesh,
First try to understand the solution given in those cases.Use hand holding for this. If you are not clear then Make little changes in your code, and try to understand the change behavior. And read the book several times for clear understanding.Even after that you are not clear the try javaranch. Hope it will help.

Hi Srinivasa,
Please dont encourage things like downloading pdf's from internet. Kathy-Sierra book is not free. It is illegal to download the soft copy. Anyone who does that and caught may have their accounts deleted.

You have lot of time.
Go through K&B twice or thrice again and make your basics clear. Every time you read a topic in any book, you will find some new things. Go again and again. Try to make questions yourself and test them; but before testing try to figure out the answer.
One thing I missed is a lot of tough mock tests like one Whizlab supports. So go for it Darling. This will make you tough for the exam.
Best of luck to you.

Seeing your Threads question, you seem to be confused about some topics...

So understand the logic completely of every topic. make a lot of programs from books and make your own programs, experiment with book codes...

before going for any mock exams, be sure that you are clear with concepts... when you give mock exams, you will realize your weaknesses...

Give the 3 exams that come with the CD that comes with K&B book. also you can choose to give some paid mock exams. You can also go for free mock exams... read the FAQ for that...

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
