DJIA 10114.29 220.45 up
Nasdaq 2046.84 83.74 up

"Tech titans captivated investors by telling them things aren't getting worse. Cisco Systems (CSCO) CEO John Chambers delivered that message to networking analysts yesterday, while Oracle (ORCL) boss Larry Ellison said much the same thing to those tracking the database-software maker.
