Actually, I've gone on record that I'd fully support Richard Stallman's contention that all software should be free, providing all housing, groceries, etc. were free. In the mean time, alas, they're not giving
me fat grants, so I have to demand a paycheck occasionally.
The secret of how to be miserable is to constantly expect things are going to happen the way that they are "supposed" to happen.
You can have faith, which carries the understanding that you may be disappointed. Then there's being a willfully-blind idiot, which virtually guarantees it.
