hi,

I have file open dialog box and one textarea, when I select file from open dialog box it should display(open) in textarea

How to do that?

Its file upload concept in servlet.
open "common file uploads" in Google you can learn the concept there.

You're going to have a hard time displaying both controls on the same page -- or at least without a page refresh due to submission of the multi-part upload form. I suppose you could do some trickery with a hidden iframe...
