App Server : Weblogic 6.1 on Unix
DataBase : Oracle 9i on Unix

when i call a oracle stored procedure from session bean i get a n array of results from the procedure. But the array has calues in heya decimal.
can anyone say does this occur. ? I have set nlscharset.zip and classes12.zip in classpath

This doesn't make any sense to me. Surely if a numeric value is returned from the database it will just be a number. Whether that number is represented as hexadecimal or decimal or whatever is merely a matter of formatting for display purposes. Or are you getting these hexadecimal values back as character-based data types?

Perhaps it would clarify things if you posted a sample of your code.
