Hi,

I know there is WRITE_DELAY property for HSQLDB. Is there such or similar property for Oracle DB server?

Found this on Google. Don't know how useful it will be, but try it.

I don't think it will be any good after all, even though it mentions WRITE_DELAY. Sorry.

Hi,

The problem why I am asking the question is that a thread does an update within hibernate session and then does a commit. However, another thread still reads the old data right after the 1st thread did a commit. And it eventually can read the correct after a while. I believe it is kind of dirty read. Given that the isolation level hibernate has been preset to read committed and the underlying database is oracle, app. server is jboss 4.0.5

Do you know what causes this issue?

regards
