Ok, not sure if this goes here, but..
I have a process that will create .jar files from specific folders in my development space to go to production. When building the .ear, I want to bundle all the .jar's from production then overlay the production .jar with my version of the updated .jar. Is this as simple as loading the production versions then adding the new .jar (same name) afterwards in the .ear build process?
Thanks...

If you don't need to modify the deployment descriptors or manifest files (i.e. there is an older version of the .jar file), that's exactly how simple it is. Just add your latest version to the .ear file and it will replace the existing .jar file within the .ear file.
