The party is only for the ppl who are with infosys since so long ! As the amount distributed would be (no. of yrs * 10k ) approximately ..So , rich infoscions with ESOPs will get richer (ESOPs are not given since last 3 years) !

Doesn't Infy employ more than 100,000 people? In that terms, Rs 126 crores is not that much of an amount. If Infy employed 100,000 people and we assumed that the 126 crores was evenly distributed, each one would get Rs 1260. Of course, as Rajesh has pointed out, it will be only the people who have been in the payrolls a while who will get some significant amounts. Most of the people who were employed in the last few years will get a small share. And don't forget taxes. Anyway, I will anyday be happy with some free money coming my way.

There is some calculation mistake .Even if they distribute evenly it will be 12600 .and considering the number of employees are only around 60000 it would be more than Rs. 20000

You are correct. I do fumble sometimes between 100,000 (One hundred thousand in USA and 1 lakh in India), 1 crore (10 million in USA).
