Hi all..i can be considered more or less a beginner to EJB's..and would like to change that by preparing for the SCBCD..
I am trying to decide between

SCBCD Exam Study Kit by Paul Sanghera- Manning
or
Head First EJB - Kathy Sierra/Bert Bates..

Read the amazon reviews for both but still confused..

Given a choice I'd prefer reading just one book end to end..
Please advise..Thanks!

Head First EJB is recommended at the ranch. I find it very easy to read.

Head First EJB is definitely the book to grab, especially if you are new to EJB development.

Mastering EJBs is another reference book many developers like to keep around. I'd say that the two together combine the best of fun learning, and hard-core reference material.

Cheers!
