Please let me know what questions can be asked for a java/j2ee architect interview? I have to give interview tomorrow. I have 3 years of experience.

Thanks.

They can ask to describe the architect of one of your project right from beginning from UML,usecases, designing, development.
You should prepare one project on this basis.

All the best.

J2EE Architect position for 3 years experience???
Expect design patterns questions, and justify why you have chosen certain approaches for your designs/soltions in past projects.

one more thing is, i am working as a developer through out my career and designation is also software engineer and i don't have any experience of designing and architecting as such.

so i am looking for questions with ready answers so i can justify myself to them for this position.

but i will surely prepare one of my project with all these details you specified.

thanks.

There are lot of interview sites like geekinterview and techinterview.com.They give you questions and ans and even interviewers consult them before taking interview.
I dont know your exact skill set but ejb is favorite amongst interviewers.
They focus more on what you have done in past and then will ask basic java, database connectivity, type of drivers,OOps concepts like aggregation, compostion and rest on your skill set.
