I have 7 years of experience in J2EE working as a Tech. Lead in one of top most Indian IT company for very low salary (7.5 lacs pa)

1) Now I want to shift to small/big MNCs where the pay is good. How much
salary I can expect??

2) I am planning to search for a job which gives me 14 lacs pa . Is is easy?

3) What the companies that pay good (small companies also okay)?

"Sasikumar",

There aren't many rules that you need to worry about here on the Ranch, but one that we take very seriously regards the use of proper names. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and adjust your display name to match it.

In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious.

Thanks!

Well I wish you best of luck for your search. But I think Salary Hike also depends upon your current drwan salary as per my experience specially this is true with big MNC's. You mey get sucess in small MNC's.

I wish you again best of luck.

Agree with Ankur's post. Big MNCs give hike as per the current salary. But you can get a sweet deal in small cos. Also it's important to do some research on what kind of package, a person of your experience can expect. This info. comes in handy.

Agree with san. (I would really appreciate san ban if you follow naming policy.)

Once I asked 100% hike with one MNC, and HR did not call me again.
