All caveats apply:
In general, someone who can do more than one thing is of greater value to business. A dual discipline of Programming and MBA is very likely to be highly valued if you can find company that needs that much skills.
Here for a while in the United States it was common for someone not to be able to get a job because they were 'overqualified' - I have not heard that problem in ten or twenty years.
I knew someone who held an MBA .... to get a job it was personal contacts and human networking. There were many persons who held MBA degree but could not find work as an MBA, my friend got a job at (....) headquarters because a professor she had studied under knew someone at that company. Sending out thousands of resumes has rarely landed real work for many people.
I just caution not to do anything that disturbs your current work / life status / security.
