How to write into a file with a servlet (write a remote file)

I have a problem. I have a servlet that count the access of client. I want to save this value on a file but i don't know how to create a file in a remote path.
Example:
my servlet is in c:\programmi\Apache JServ\servlets\
I want to save the file here using path like "localhost\servlets"
Help me!!
