A colleague is making a pdf of his book available, open for review feedback. If you want to check it out. Here's what he says:

"I would like to inform you that I have finished a book about "Mathematical Modelling of Puzzles and Games" which goes now into a "reviewing" phase. You are invited to download the PDF-Version of the book at:

http://www.virtual-optima.com/downx/puzzbook.pdf

You also have the possibility to participate in this reviewing process. Any comments --especially critical once-- are very welcome! I am especially interested of whether the description of the puzzles and their solutions are understandable and interesting. Thanks a lot.

Please note that as a "reviewer" you'll get in the "reviewer-list" of the book."

Pauline,

Thanks for posting this link. I did a quick read - I have a few comments / suggestions I will end on / but overall I think the approach is very good and the content is very good - I would very much consider using this text as a support text in some of my courses.

Thanks again,

-steve
