Hi All,

I am developing an intranet site for our team. I need to provide a search engine facility for the intranet users. I am thinking of using Apache Lucene. Can anybody give me how to create indices as the users are supposed to do a free text search on the files stored in the Server.

All ideas are welcome!!

Thanks in Advance!!!

dinesh.

The gettingstarted.html page of the Lucene documentation points to a couple of sample programs that index some text, and then search it. Since the source to those programs comes with Lucene, that might be a good start.
