"Ann"-
A few things...
1st thing:
Welcome to the JavaRanch!
We like to keep a nice professional lookin' image here (despite that one eyed moose)... so please adjust your displayed name to match the JavaRanch Naming Policy. You can change it here.
2nd thing:
For the SCPJ 1.4 exam, I'd start playing with JDK 1.4.1
3rd thing:
Check out our ultra-snazzy, extremely helpful Programmer Certification Study forum. There's lots of folks like you studying for the SCPJ exam, and other folks like me who have passed it and like to spread the wealth (did I mention that cool folks like ME are there? wait til you talk to Corey, he's a smarty).
Anyway... thanks in advance for adjusting your display name -- good luck with your studying -- hope to see you around the Programmer's Study forum! and again, welcome to the JavaRanch!
