Hello, What's the command to complie a java file in linux. For DOS , its javac <filename>....but i think u gotta type somethign else after javac in linux???
As far as I know, the command is still javac. Depending on how your system is set-up, however, you may need to specify things like the class-path or other such switches. Type javac with no arguments (or javac -help) to see a listing of options.
