This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
Received my confirmation now. (Booked by phone). 5H15M!! I really hope that I'm not expected to answer exam questions for 5 hours. Any one know how many exam questions, and how many questions are survey questions or other type of questions used to gather information by Sun?

From past experience, there's going to be plenty of questions that it might well take you that long. (Past betas have run in the general neighborhood of 180-200 questions.) The "survey" questions are the usual ones Sun asks at the beginning, and aren't counted in that number.
(And, personally... considering the beta exam is free, I don't see the big deal in it being a 5 hour exam - we're doing them a favor in testing the questions, and they're doing us a favor by making it cost-free to take a stab at it. It's quid pro quo.)
