K&B SCJP 1.5 Book - strange amazon availibility status

Hi Everybody.
When I pre-ordered it from Amazon.UK, the price was about 24�. Now it's 31.01�. My order date was 23th December.
If Tilo's book is now on the way to him, only after 2 days from the order, I think the reason may be this actual big difference of price :roll:
Money can change priorities... 
Luckily, I haven't a great hurry for K&B book, because now I'm studying fundamentals of Java 5 on other books (Schildt, Deitel, Eckel..)

Amazon is now in "Usually ships within 6 to 12 days" mode.
It was at 24 hours for a few days, which didn't lead to fullfilling my order.
It looks like Amazon is not what it used to be.

Finally I found and got the K&B 5 book! 
An online bookshop in Italy (www.ibs.it) had one book available in stock and I bought it immediately. Ibs delivered it to me in about 14 hours!
Thanks to Kathy & Bert. It's a fantastic book. I think it will be a very good resource for me. And now..just starting to prepare the exam!

Anyone wishing to order the book in UK, I would recommend www.compman.co.uk - very prompt, you will get the book next day providing it is in stock at the time of the order, which it has been since published.

I cancelled my amazon.com order after looking at the "24 hours" status for a week and bought it at the Donner bookstore in Rotterdam.  to amazon. It feels like they have been saving on their backoffice a little too much.

Nerdbooks.com .. got my book within 4 days of ordering.
Pretty good,i must say- considering it was shipped from Texas to Detroit .

It looks like my order from Amazon is finally shipping. I just got the tracking number today. It hasn't actually left the warehouse, but it should be picked up tomorrow and hopefully to my house by the end of the week!

K&B SCJP 1.5 book is available in Bangalore(INDIA) @Book Paradise but very few copies with them.
It costs Rs. 499
