I guess, they should do something with the rules. There was one shot (almost goal) which was stopped by hand, otherwise France would have made it...

What's that?
Of course Brasil won 1958.
1958 the cup was played in Sweden, and 1958 as today, Sweden was and is part of Europe!

The opposite is true:
Never a european team has won outside of europe, but Brasil won in South-America, in Europe, in Mexico (which is part of CONCACAF [North-America and Middle-Amerika]), in Asia and will win 2006 in Germany (Europe again) and 2010 in Africa too.

Samba!

*P.S.: 31607 Brasil will win on Alpha-Centauri too - that's for sure.

They are fairly toothless up front and its an aging team. Henry is an amazing player for Arsenal, but partly as a result of how Arsenal play. France play in a completely different way so he doesn't score.

Brazil won the world cup in 1994. Before that, he had won this title for the last time in 1970.
1970 + 1994 = 3964

Argentina won the world cup for the last time in 1986. Before that only in 1978.
1978 + 1986 = 3964

Germany, though, won the world cup in 1990. Before that, Germany won in 1974.
1990 + 1974 = 3964

This could lead us to guess the winner of the World Cup in 2002, since it should be the winner of the 1962 World Cup
3964 - 2002 = 1962

And Brazil won the world cup in 1962 and 2002.

This numerology seems to work...

And now, who would be the winner of the 2006 world cup?

3964 - 2006 = 1958

And who won in 1958?

BRAZIL

Change the rules? To what? "Any team that nearly scores should be awarded a win!".

England are through.
