I would like to join the Ikasan Enterprise Integration Platform project. Please let me know how we proceed. I know I am applying too late . But if you still have open positions, then please let me know .
I'm recruiting for Java Developers and other team members for two Open Source projects:
1.) PCGen - A Character Generator. PCGen is a complex Java based desktop application for maintaining characters for d20 based Role playing games (such as Dungeons and Dragons). This project is ideal for those who want to be involved in a mature Open Source project with a low barrier to entry.
2.) Ikasan - Enterprise Integration Platform. Ikasan has been recently Open Sourced by an investment bank, it's a Java based Middleware platform similar in concept to Mule et al. This project is ideal for those who want to be involved in a brand new Open Source project based in the Financial Services sector. If you are interested in joining Ikasan - Enterprise Integration Platform project then please follow the steps mentioned here http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/ikasaneip/index.php?title=Welcome_Letter
* There are a wide variety of positions available.
* All positions are unpaid.
* People are welcome to join from around the world, but projects are mainly run in English.
* Projects offer a good environment for mentoring/learning.
Hi Martijn,

Hello Martijn,
I would really like to participate in "The Ikasan Enterprise Integration Platform". I'm a Java/J2EE developer. I'm keen to take part on the project.
Sir,i am an engineering student and i have never done a java project before...i know core java well,but i am yet to learn J2EE ,do you think i can join the projects? If yes, then which one will be better for me?
And i never had any experience about an open source project..so,as i am perparing for SCJP now, i will not be able to work in next 15 days, i will definitely work after that though, will it be ok?
