With the last date of beta exam being tomorrow, I don't think my experience will help much people for Beta. But I would like to share my experience.
It didn't go so well for me(Since I was not prepared much for SCDJWS 5. My preparation was more focussed on SCDJWS 1.4). It's tough.
Apart from old topics(SCDJWS 4), following areas given below should be given more importance while study:-
1. Primary focus should on WCF, WSIT and JAX-WS.
2. REST, JSON.(But not much)
3. Then all the usual WSDL,
SOAP, Design
patterns, Security, XML Schema
I hardly got any Netbeans, APT questions. I didn't feel that focus was given to SOAP 1.2 since most of it was still SOAP 1.1. No drag and drop and fill in blanks. But lots of "choose X correct answers"
Exam has some bugs too. Select 2 questions and there actually 3 to select
In some, there are same answer repeated twice.
Don't have expectation of passing, as my preparation was not good enough for new version. All the best for all beta takers out there!!
