I am using DWR and feel comfortable. Why do you think I need to learn Dojo unless it have some better feature than DWR?
Thanks

Hi Aaron,

DWR is nice (and is also a part of Dojo foundation nowadays) but DWR is a very specific toolkit that focus on Ajax (and reverse-ajax) specifically.

DWR is also a clinet _and_ server solution, whereas Dojo is client-only and very server-agnostic.

Also, Dojo have a ton of other feature such as layout managers, charting, drag n drop, trees, data models, et.c. There are also very good support in Dojo for communicating with DWR.

Cheers,
PS

Hello, I had kind of simillar question with so many AJAX technologies namely DOJO, DWR, GWT, YUI etc. is there standard one among these that I can follow?

With Struts2.x using DOJO should I be concerned about the other tools?

If by that, you mean popular, then jQuery and Prototype win that distinction according to most surveys.

Found this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_JavaScript_frameworks
