BlueJ
What escpecially interest me is their claim :
"BlueJ was developed at a University specifically for the purpose of teaching object orientation with Java."

no, i haven't seen that one before, but i do use these IDE's from Auburn University in Alabama, Georiga, USA.
jGrasp and PCGrasp
the one you posted looks like it has more to it than these do. the PCGrasp version is what i started using for c++ a couple years ago... jGrasp was their version for Java programming, but it is way to memory intensive... if you are not on a fast computer, i do not recommend using it. i do not use it on my laptop because it sucks my battery.
both of these are free as well.

this is the pcGrasp editor.

Heck Pauline done reveal my sources. Now they know I've got no original bone in my body
3rd time I've lost face today. Twice in the graduation log and now here
I've downloaded BlueJ by the way. Hope it can help me understand OO better. Every time I think a book has shown me the light I end up flat on my face when I try and use it for real.
Will keep you guys posted.
