I am very well familiar with Struts validation framework that uses validation.xml. However, as a new client requirement we are planning to allow the client himself to specify which all fields he wants to make mandatory for signing-up on his business site. Thus one client may choose to make phone mandatory whereas another may not make it mandatory. I know how can I handle this mandatory validation inside my struts action, but is there a way by which I can dynamically put this inside struts own validation framework?

Any pointers, suggestions would be highly appreciated!

TIA,
- Manish

At which places did you put your struts validations? (xml, validate method)

You may be able to change the validation if you used the validate method.

If you used the xml, it would most likely need an application restart; which is probably not satisfactory to your requirements.
