My ear has the WAR and jar. I deployed successfully on WAS using admin console. when I access the URL it gives me error
Generated servlet error : and is showing a missing class file that is in the jar.

I think the WAR got deployed, but do I manually need to drop the JAR somewhere on the WAS server
for it to pick it up?

The Jar file is in your $EAR_BASE_DIR/lib and is referenced by your application.xml correct? Oh, and moving this to another forum since this isn't Ant or Maven etc related.
