class not found exception.

hi
i trying to give database connection from java to mysql. I set the class path in environment variables. when i am trying to run the application class not found: com.mysq.jdbc.Driver error is coming

How are you adding the jar file containing the MySQL driver to the classpath? It's apparently not being found.
