How to check whether javascript is enabled in browser or not?

Hi
we are involved in developing a web application its need java script enabled who ever accessing this application

for this i need to check in the login page only

if java script enabled then proceed other wise i need to inform to the user please enable java script in order to access this application

with out JavaScript enabling we dont want to access the users to access web application.

can any one help me on this please how to achieve this?

JavaScript is one word not two.

All you have to work with is the noscript tag.

Make the "welcome page" the "please enable JavaScript page" and put some script on it to redirect to the real opening page. If script is disabled, they'll be stuck on the "please enable" page.
