Their online system is useful to me. I have been a member and currently checked out Head First PMP for my CAPM preparation. I also used books on it while preparing for my SUN certifications.

I hope that Head First series team continue to add their books on Oreilly Online.

Ill take Head First Java next.

If you have your SCJP already, then H.F. Java won't be much help. I have read it and am going for my cert. The K&B book goes into a lot greater detail. I read the H.F. book because someone at my last job recommended it for certification. I got the K&B book because it advertises that it has what you need to prepare for the exam. I'm glad I made that decision, because I doubt I would pass by just reading H.F. alone (and I still have to schedule the exam ).

I have read the Java 1.4 versions of both books you mentioned. The K&B book (Java 1.4 version) helped me pass the SCJP 1.4 exam.

I will read the book I mentioned, HF Java(for Java 1.5), to upgrade my knowledge on Java 5, not for certification. In addition, I think this book will help me when I go for SCJD.
